India went into the world’s largest lockdown on March 25, 2020. It was supposed to be over a 21-day period – a three-week sacrifice from which we would emerge all the stronger.
Life was very different in March. We were still used to the old ways. Afraid, but excited, I embarked on maintaining a daily food journal on my Instagram feed. Twenty-one posts. Twenty-one blurbs. Seems like forever ago.
After the first phase, realisation set in that the world has truly changed in quantifiable ways and a series like Cooks In Isolation didn’t make much sense anymore.
I did cook up a few good meals during that time and I want to re-create some of the recipes again soon.
